I run the Start-ups in London Libraries program for the London Borough of Waltham Forest. We work with the British Library and nine other London boroughs to deliver ERDF-funded workshops to pre-start-ups and early stage entrepreneurs, in the space of our lovely local libraries.
It is important that we consistently seek out service providers who can inform our customers about external factors that may impact their business. Naturally Brexit was a key concern for many of our stakeholders, so we were thrilled to be able to welcome Chris and Sietske from Brexit Help during one of our core workshops.
The information they presented was insightful for the 30+ participants – feedback was that it helped them to think about Brexit in a different way, to evaluate how their business might be at risk, to be aware of the Brexit support resources available to them, and to be more at ease with the ambiguity of the situation.
We were grateful for the content provided, and for Chris and Sietske’s enthusiasm in sharing their knowledge.
